Cold-pressed juices retain a higher nutrient and enzyme content because they are never heated, resulting in minimal processing and reduced waste. Each of our Main Squeeze Juice Co. locations uses the state-of-the-art X1 Goodnature pneumatic juicer, ensuring the freshest and most nutrient-rich juices every day.

Who Can Benefit from Cleansing?

Cleansing is for anyone looking to improve their health. Our bodies are already naturally detoxing through the liver and kidneys, but our cleanse program supports this process with nutrient-dense juices, allowing your body to restore and heal itself more effectively.

Who Should Not Cleanse?

  • Individuals with acute or chronic illnesses
  • Those experiencing extreme adrenal fatigue
  • Those with a history of eating disorders
  • People with allergies to any of the ingredients
  • Those on physician-prescribed medications (unless cleared by a healthcare professional)

Since our juices are unpasteurized , they may contain harmful bacteria that could pose a risk to children, the elderly, pregnant women, and anyone with a weakened immune system.

For those who don’t regularly consume plant-based foods, fresh juice is a great way to keep your body and mind healthy. If you’re ready to reset your system, a juice cleanse can be the perfect solution. It’s about more than just detoxing; it’s about cultivating self-love and nourishing your body with proper nutrition.

Our cleanse program allows you to fast from solid foods while flooding your system with vitamins, minerals, and micronutrients. The cold-press process removes insoluble fiber, giving your digestive system a break and allowing for the maximum absorption of healthy phytonutrients. Don’t worry, the soluble fibers remain in the juice, acting as prebiotics to support digestion and healthy gut flora.

Preparation

For the best results, prepare your body for the cleanse by eliminating or reducing the following 2-4 days before starting:

  • Caffeine
  • Alcohol
  • Refined foods (sugar, dairy, processed foods)
  • Meat/animal products
  • Nicotine
  • Over-the-counter medications (unless prescribed by your physician)

Additional Prep

In this time of eliminating the above list, here are additional tips:

  • Hydrate: Drink at least 64 oz. of water each day.
  • Eat Plant-Based: Prioritize fruits and vegetables leading up to your cleanse.
  • Smoothies: Begin incorporating nutrient-dense smoothies into your diet before starting the cleanse.
  • Soups: Consider adding liquid-based meals like soups to ease into the cleanse.
  • Set an Intention: Clear your mind and set a goal for this experience. It’s not about reaching a specific outcome but about nurturing your body and embracing a healthier lifestyle.
  • Manage Expectations: The cleanse is not about perfection. It’s about resetting your body and cultivating self-care habits that last.

Most people feel great during the cleanse, but common symptoms (like changes in bowel movements, headaches, fatigue, or mood swings) may arise. These symptoms are part of the detoxification process and can vary depending on your previous lifestyle and preparation.


During Your Cleanse

Start Your Day: Upon waking, squeeze 1/4 lemon into 10-16 oz. of warm water to kickstart the detox process.

Hydrate First: Drink at least 24 oz. of water (including your lemon water) before your first juice.

Juice Throughout the Day: Consume your 6 juices over the course of the day, ideally every 2 hours. Drink plenty of water between juices.

Need Food? If you find yourself craving food, we recommend liquid-based options like vegetable soup, broth, or smoothies.

After Your Cleanse

If your cleanse lasted 6+ days , we recommend easing back into solid foods with a 3-day buffer period before consuming full meals or indulgences (especially from the list above). If your cleanse was 3-5 days , take at least 1 ½ days before returning to solid foods. Start with smoothies, soups, and more cold-pressed juice.

Once you're ready, transition back to solids with a focus on vegetables, fruits, and salads . Continue hydrating with plenty of water.

Post-Cleanse Recommendations (2 Weeks)

To maintain energy and keep feeling light, avoid the following for up to 2 weeks after your cleanse:

  • Caffeine
  • Alcohol
  • Refined foods
  • Meat/animal products
  • Nicotine
  • Over-the-counter medications (unless prescribed)

Once you're ready, transition back to solids with a focus on vegetables, fruits, and salads . Continue hydrating with plenty of water.

Additional Support & Tips

You may notice that after your cleanse, you crave less sugar and prefer more vegetable-based juices. This is a great sign! One of the goals of cleansing is to shift your relationship with food toward more whole, plant-based options. While our cleanses are designed for beginners (with a fruit-to-vegetable ratio that’s easy to digest), we encourage you to increase your intake of vegetable-rich juices as you progress.
